wildlands-fire-safety

Organizations that have the potential to work in a fire-prone landscape or perform a service that could inadvertently cause a wildland fire should have a living fire plan. This presentation addresses the reasons and approaches that should be considered when developing a fire plan and how it should be modeled and updated. You’ll receive a basic overview for justifying plans to management, conceptualizing how a fire plan could become standard operating procedure for field safety, and explaining how to use a fire plan as a reservoir for safety tailboards and job hazard analysis briefings.
