Urban Trees and Their Benefits to Wildlife

Many arborists and people understand the benefits that trees provide in forests and urban areas and for wildlife for food water and shelter. But when selecting a tree for planting, not as many think about benefits provided in urban forests or along powerline rights-of-way (ROWs). A basic understanding of which trees benefit native wildlife such as insects and birds is essential to create a fully functional and balanced urban forest.
