When speaking with employees about the hazards recognized in our industry, it is important to be conscientious of the words and phrases that we use. Our communication makes a difference in how our employees receive and process information about hard topics, such as leading and lagging indicators. In this program, our presenters deliver examples of words and phrases we can use to improve understanding and retention of the intended message.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER


Adrienne Jones, Safety Manager, ACRT

Adrienne Jones is a safety manager at ACRT. She has two years of industry experience and is a Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) and a National Safety Council-certified Defensive Driving Course Instructor. Jones also serves as a First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor and is a member of the Utility Arborist Association Safety Committee. She holds a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University, located in Chicago, Illinois.
